The sustainable use of resources is our highest priority. ROWE specialises in the recycling of the raw material that is PfR. We are an important link in the entire value-added chain for this raw material. Thanks to our years of experience with PfR and sorting municipal and commercial PfR as well as paper from the graphic industry, we are able to provide a wide range of qualities that meet the specific needs of our customers in the paper industry. As an expert partner to industry, trade and local authorities, we work with the paper industry to close the material cycle in paper recycling and logistics, thus ensuring environmentally friendly and resource-saving recycling.
Manufacturers of graphic papers mainly require “deinking” paper as raw material for their production. We obtain this graphic PfR from paper collected from households. Our state-of-the-art sorting plant sorts household collected paper by means of a mechanical and optoelectronic process, followed by manual sorting into graphic and miscellaneous paper fractions. This enables us to process approximately 25 tonnes of raw material per hour.
We are continuously monitored within the framework of our yearly certification as a Specialist Disposal Company.
Paper for recycling (PfR) is a highly volatile raw material both in terms of its availability and from a financial perspective. This is partly due to the fact that the “production” of PfR largely cannot be controlled – it is something that simply accumulates. Sometimes there is too much, sometimes too little product on the market. To be able to expertly manage these situations, a day-to-day market presence is required. With our extensive knowledge, we can offer a wide range of options to anyone for whom PfR is a commodity that they simply must have available for further processing. For this purpose, we submit individually tailored full supply concepts, which, however, all have one thing in common: 100% price transparency, giving you the confidence to continue working with us well into the future.
ROWE coordinates the collection of used paper towels for Tork, an Essity brand, in Germany and in some neighbouring European countries. Paper towels should not be disposed of as PfR and should therefore not be included in the general paper collection. ROWE collects the valuable raw material separately so that it can be used in the production of new hygiene products as part of the Tork PaperCircle® recycling service.
